Any other Joanna Gaines fans out there? I love Chip and Jo! And this outdoor wedding inspiration is full of everyone’s favorite rustic farmhouse touches. You’ll see gorgeous neutrals paired with fluffy blooms and greenery, lots of natural, rustic textures, and some beautiful calligraphy pieces. In fact, the calligraphy window from these photos now hangs in our home! I love custom calligraphy pieces that can be used after the wedding day! Virginia and DC brides, if you're looking for an outdoor wedding venue, look no further, because Rust Manor House is stunning! Well beach season is officially upon us, so I’m throwing it back to my very first styled shoot for Allison Dee Calligraphy, but still one of my favorites! Featured on Burnett’s Boards, this wedding inspiration is simple and rustic, but has the most unique color palette that comes out in the gorgeous flowers! I love the custom calligraphy pieces that Alyssa from Ginger & Blooms dreamed up for me to create, including the stone place cards in the tablescape, the fabric banner for the couple’s photos, and the watercolor touches on the invitation suite with a nod to the nautical venue! And if nautical wedding venues make your heart sing, be sure to check out this yacht club wedding! All the magical photos here are by the incredible Lauren Werkheiser Photography.
Last month, some of my all-time favorite calligraphy work was featured alongside some other incredible wedding vendors on Dear Gray Magazine! There is something magical when a team of talented vendors comes together for a styled photo shoot, and this summer wedding inspiration was no different! Amanda Adams Photography and Alyssa from Ginger & Blooms coordinated to bring the citrus color palette to life with lots of different wedding details. One reason I love styled photo shoots is that I always get to create some really unique calligraphy pieces, and this shoot did not disappoint! You’ll see a fabric calligraphy banner, hand torn calligraphy wedding invitation suite, watercolor calligraphy placecards, and my favorite piece – calligraphy on a cake! And wait until you see the absolutely gorgeous tablescape complete with calligraphy menus and a calligraphy table number! The venue was Strong Mansion at Sugarloaf Mountain and it was seriously the perfect backdrop for all of the textures and details that Amanda captured so perfectly. You can see the full wedding feature on Dear Gray Magazine!
